Eames Saarinen Organic Furniture Cabinet System 1941

A rare and impressive chest of drawers from the modular furniture line designed by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen in 1941, which they won first place in the Museum of Modern Art’s seminal “Organic Design in Home Furnishings” competition. This amazing line of modular case goods were produced in very small quantities in Honduran mahogany by Red Lion Furniture, which was scrapped only months after being launched due to the start of WW2.
