Beautiful and rare all original enameled metal, iron and ceramic table lamp designed by Jacques Biny, circa 1950s, France. Amazing patina with a fully articulating shade that pivots on a brass ball. Bakelite switch, removable ceramic tray intact and retains original European cord. You will need a converter if planning on using the lamp in the US.

Jacques Biny was one of the most important French lighting designers from the 1950s to 1970s. Unlike most designers, he also manufactured designs and worked in partnership with some of the best designers of the period, including Michel Buffet, Jean Boris Lacroix and Gustave Gauthier.
